Privacy policy

Last updated 10 October 2026. This policy covers is-live.dev, the subdomain service run by Vexellab. Our tools on other subdomains, such as editor.is-live.dev, have their own policies.

What we collect

When you request a subdomain: your full name, email address, phone number, the subdomain name, what it is for, and where it should point (the host and target).
Your account: your password, stored only as a secure hash, and the date you accepted the terms.
Verification: a member of our team calls you before approving a subdomain and keeps short notes from that call.
Payments: your plan, the amount, the period it covers and the payment reference you give us (for example a UPI or bank transfer reference). We don’t collect or store card numbers.
Activity records: every approval, change, suspension and release, with who made it and when.
Health checks: we periodically check that each subdomain still resolves and what kind of page it serves, to catch broken records and phishing pages.

How we use it

To review your request, call you to verify it, and create, change or remove your DNS records.
To send you account emails: set-password and reset links, and approval, change, payment, renewal and suspension notices.
To keep the service safe: investigate abuse reports, suspend harmful subdomains and keep a record of what happened.

We do not sell your information or use your phone number for marketing.

What is public

Once a subdomain is approved, its name and the address it points to are public in DNS, like any domain name. Your name, email and phone number are not published.

Who we share it with

Cloudflare hosts our DNS and protects the site. Each DNS record we create includes a reference to its owner's account so our team can trace it; this is visible only inside our Cloudflare account.
Resend delivers our account emails.
Authorities, when the law requires it, or when needed to stop serious abuse.

Cookies

We use cookies that are needed to sign you in and protect forms (a session cookie and a CSRF cookie). The advertising cookies described below may also be used.

Advertising

We may show ads from Google AdSense on is-live.dev and our tools.

Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your previous visits to this and other websites.
Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and other sites on the internet.
You can opt out of personalised advertising in Google Ads Settings, or opt out of some third-party vendors' cookies at aboutads.info.
Visitors in the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland are asked for consent before personalised ads are shown.

Server logs

Our web server records requests (IP address, time, address requested and browser type) to keep the service secure and limit abuse. These logs are deleted after 14 days.

How long we keep it

We keep your account and subdomain details while your account exists. Records of approvals, suspensions and abuse reports may be kept longer so we can deal with repeated abuse.

Your choices

You can release a subdomain at any time from your dashboard; its DNS record is removed straight away.
To see, correct or delete your information, or close your account, email [email protected].

Children

is-live.dev is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
